My Gear
I have a variety of gear for different audio situations that arise. Including, but not limited to:
Sound Devices 833 recorder
Sound Devices MixPre-6 as a back up or secondary recorder or my low budget or independent production kit
3 K-Tek boompoles including a K-Tek KE-79CCR Traveler, K-Tek KP12CCR 12’ KlassicPro, and a K-Tek Klassic Series Traveler K-230CCR (20’)
4 channels of Wisycom wireless with DPA and Sanken wires and a variety of mounting disposables (More available upon request)
2 Camera hops
A variety of boom mics from manufacturers including DPA, Sanken, Sennheiser, and RØDE
A reporter stick mics with blank flag
A Comtek IFB system with up to 6 receivers (More available upon request)
Timecode systems including a Deneke TS-C Smart Slate and 5 Tentacle Sync E boxes
Various other kit components include K-tek bags, Orca 3S harness, Remote Audio BDS, Bubblebee and Rycote wind protection, Matthews C-Stand and boom holder, mic mounting solutions from Dinkum, Ursa Straps, Bubblebee, and a variety of other solutions I’ve found useful over the years.
Batteries, in an attempt to be more eco-friendly I use rechargeable batteries as much as possible. I buy high quality batteries trusted by countless professionals and make sure to rotate them out so they don’t effect production. If production would prefer disposables for a shoot I am happy to use them, at additional cost to production.
Given enough lead time and budget I am also happy to arrange rental through Trew Audio or another source for any additional audio gear your shoot might require.
