TERMS

Payment: Payment is due when services are rendered. Michael Corl is not a credit lending institution.

Invoices due Net-15. Labor Payment via any payroll service due net-15. Payment must be RECEIVED before day 30 to avoid late fee. No exceptions.

Late fee: Overdue invoices are subject to a 20% late fee per month, compounded monthly.

Late fees and collection costs will be payable by client BEFORE COPYRIGHT WILL BE RELEASED

Cancellation: 50% fee due if confirmed booking cancelled within 72 hours, 100% if within 48 hours. Cancellation fee includes gear rental.
Travel: All travel expenses (visas, carnets, air, hotel, parking, etc.) are paid by production. Hilton brand (Hampton, etc) are preferred, hotels should be at least a 2 star whenever possible.

Turnaround: Expected turnaround for consecutive days is 10 hours off-clock. On travel jobs, hotel room door is considered portal-to-portal.

If forced call <10 hours off, labor rate moves to next tier until full reset 10 hours received. Double-time rate after hour 12.

8th day consecutive (or more) continues at 7th day rate until 48 continuous hours off duty.

Meals: After 6.00 hours on, 30 minute hot meal provided by production is on duty time. One hour walk-away is off clock unless p2p is in force. Meal penalty is equal to 1 hour of prevailing rate for each 15 minutes after hour 6 until break called.

Second meal (if provided by production after wrap) is counted as on-duty time for purposes of turnaround.

Special circumstances: Project negotiations are made in good faith based on statements by producer / production. Substantial differences in scale or scope of production including previously non-disclosed hazardous situations will result in immediate renegotiation upon discovery.

Rental: Rental agreement must be accepted prior to call for all equipment to be used. Text-based booking of services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Insurance: Insurance certificate for Rented Equipment must be issued by production listing Michael Corl as Additional Insured and Loss Payee. Michael Corl is a vendor to production, it is production's responsibility to procure and maintain insurance and workers comp for all persons on location.

L&D: Production assumes all responsibility for any lost or damaged items rented during the term of the shoot. Production is responsible for paying any insurance deductible. Any damaged gear is to be repaired or replacement value paid at current retail rate or MSRP. Equipment remains payable at daily rate until replaced or returned to service.

Copyright: In accordance with USC Title 17, mechanical copyright for ALL audio recordings created through Michael Corl’s equipment and stored on any media or format are owned by Michael Corl until such time as the invoice has been paid in full including any associated late fees. Upon full payment, copyright automatically reverts to client. This rate card and any invoices are the primary terms between client and Michael Corl. No documents may alter these terms once work has begun. Any documents from client must be signed by both parties before work begins to have any effect. Booking constitutes acceptance of all terms on this sheet.

NDA: Michael Corl is willing to be restricted by NDA, provided such NDA does not restrict name of client solely for self promotion 6 months after wrap.
